South Bend Action Team: Dec 15, 2007

Fifteen South Bend Action members came down to Indy this past Saturday to visit. They arrived at 9 a.m. for a talk over breakfast until 11. Then, we all split up into groups and decorated neighbors houses in the Southside for Christmas, made a wheelchair ramp extension, cooked cookies, visited people at Lockfield Village, hung drywall, made shelving, prepared for a Lord’s Day in 1815, painted the duplex living and dining room, and pushed a truck out of the snow. By 3:00 p.m. the weather was turning for the worst, so the visitors had to pack on into the 15 passenger van and head back to South Bend while there was still daylight.
