Kanes, NoVa and More: Feb 22-25, 2008

This weekend was definitely worth writing home about. The K[ane]. family and from South Bend arrived on Friday around noon and stayed until brunch on Sunday. During the day, John X. from South Bend and two high school guys from Muncie [Shane and Peter] also arrived to pitch in. On Saturday evening, 10 people from Northern Virginia arrived with a moving van full of donated household items and furniture! We unloaded, organized, reloaded, and allocated much of the furniture, as well as organizing the boxed items. It was a whirlwind of a weekend. On Saturday, the Indy branch and some Missionaries hosted a Pentecost Seminar and that ended with a big Lord’s Day at the branch center where the branch, the Seminar guests, the NoVa/SB/Muncie guests, and all the Missionaries ate good food, praised God, and even played a bit of basketball.
