The Missionaries
We eleven missionaries came from five states to Indiana to do whatever the Lord calls us to. In the summer of 2007, we found the near South Side neighborhood where we have spent much of our time since then. However, our mission work is not limited to talking with residents there. We also visit residents of Lockefield Village, bring the Lord to students at IUPUI, pray with people in the hospital ER’s, do fix-it projects with our neighbors in the Southside, and do whatever else the Spirit puts on our plate for the day.
Hannah Brummer The oldest of ten children, Hannah hails from Minneapolis. Since graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2002, she’s taught English in Houston, New Orleans, Bloomington, MN, and, most recently, Indianapolis. She loves Southern hospitality, Midwestern down-to-earthness, and the Lord’s care for the Mississippi River valley. The People of Praise is her lifelong home, and her work is to build cities for Christ with her brothers and sisters in community.
